Arctic Spyder
ABOUT THE BUILD
The Arctic Spyder began as a bone-stock 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Arctic Edition, dropped off by a customer who wanted something far beyond a factory trim package. The goal was to build a show-quality Jeep that highlighted Poison Spyder’s full JK product line while doubling as a test platform for our prototype coilover conversion system.
Phase 1 of this build focused on custom paintwork, LED upgrades, and a complete Poison Spyder armor package. Although this stage was designed for shows and events, the Arctic Spyder was built with future capability in mind. Phase 2 featured drivetrain upgrades like Dana 60 axles and an Atlas II transfer case, making it fully trail-ready.
The center of this build was the Arctic White color. A lot of our armor was paint-matched, while components like the Crusher Flares and Brawler Rockers were finished in a custom two-tone brushed-and-white scheme. This build also featured blue accents throughout the beadlocks, skid plates, and vinyl cutouts tying the entire theme together. The result is a clean, detailed build that really shows off what Poison Spyder can do, using the same production parts our customers run every day.

- Brawler-Lite Front Bumper with Brawler Bar, providing improved front-end protection and a better approach angle.

- Currie Anti-Rock Front & Rear Sway Bar Kits, balancing on-road stability with off-road articulation.
- Dana 30 Backbone Brace and C-Gussets reinforcing the front axle for added strength.
- 5.13 Motive Gear Ring & Pinion (front & rear) re-gearing the Jeep to support 40" tires.
- J.E. Reel HD Front & Rear Driveshafts built to handle additional suspension travel and torque.
- Rigid LED 360° Lighting Package, including a 50" SR-Series light bar, a 10" SR-Series fairlead-mounted bar, four Dually D2 driving lights, LED marker lights, LED backup lights, and 4" push-in LED taillights.
- Truck-Lite 7" LED Headlights for improved clarity and safer nighttime driving.
- Raceline Monster RT Diamond 17x9.5 beadlock wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler MTR Kevlar 40x13.50R17 tires.
- Custom paint, powder coat, and Poison Spyder vinyl graphics for the Arctic-themed look.
- Poison Spyder A-Pillar and lower A-Pillar light mounts for secure LED mounting.
- LED license plate bracket and JK LED resistor kit.
- Warn Dual Force PowerPlant winch paired with an Amsteel Blue 3/8" x 100' synthetic winch line for recovery.
- JK 6-switch power distribution kit (sPOD) for simple control of all lighting and accessories.
